Micro Drive 1kW

The smallest AC servo drive in its class! with integrated power supply unit & filters

The Micro Drive is a compact and intelligent servo drive with a wide range of options for parameterization. A special feature of the drive is the ability to define four user-specific curve profiles with up to 4096 positions. This allows very fast and complex moves to be programmed and calculated in the drive. Communication takes place via the CANopen protocol and device profiles DS-301 & DS-402. In addition to the standard modes (PP, PV, HM, TQ, IP), a force feedback mode is also integrated.

Tailored quality that meets international standards

For many years, Brunner Elektronik AG (BEH) has developed and realized highly reliable components and complete system solutions based on CAN-bus technology. The company is now expanding its scope of services towards CoDeSys and EtherCAT.

In mid-2008, BEH joined two important associations: the CoDeSys Automation Alliance and the EtherCAT Technology Group. For BEH, access to the Controller Development System and the utilization of the equally promising Ethernet-based control automation technology both open opportunities beyond the usual field bus systems.

By implementing the complementary CoDeSys and EtherCAT, BEH has linked two concepts that belong together: technological advancement and proven, reliable hardware from our own production.

As a result, BEH customers receive turnkey system solutions with hardware that offers a maximum level of reliability, even in demanding environments. From the customers’ own industry PC (Pentium M), they can use CoDeSys and the corresponding software to create memory-programmable, high-performance control automation that is scalable to an almost unlimited degree. BEH plans to offer the package based either on CAN-Bus or EtherCAT. Either way, these new controlling concepts make performance levels possible that were impossible to achieve with classic field bus systems.

[Translate to 4 English:]

Not just for presentations: 3D models from BEH

BRUNNER Elektronik now also makes models that enable you to effectively present ideas and proposals – and to constructively optimize devices and components.

Convincing solutions to problems create added value. Developing them more quickly helps you save money and will even get your solution onto the market more quickly. For this reason, we now make the BRUNNER Elektronik 3D printer available to our customers’ development and sales departments as well.

From CAD data record to three-dimensional model in a snap!

Whether for housings, bezels, coolers, threads, mountings or fittings – whether the construction is electronic or mechanical: BRUNNER Elektronik turns a CAD record into a precise 3D model made of resistant ABS material (+/- 0.05 mm), in white, blue, yellow, black red, steel-grey and green. The process only takes a few hours and the conditions are competitive.

The process builds up volume layer by layer. If supporting material is necessary, separation is done in a water bath after printing. For dimensions larger that 203 x 203 x 305 mm, two or more segments can easily and completely be combined.

On request, BRUNNER Elektronik will process the customer’s CAD files in all established formats.

Constructive optimization without follow-up costs

Models created by the 3D printer facilitate argumentation, which in turn facilitates order placement. They also help identify the friction zones of a construction, which can be eliminated by processing existing casting molds or drawing tools. This brings additional, often significant cost advantages.

BRUNNER Elektronik sets up a new website

In time for BRUNNER Elektronik’s 40th Anniversary Celebrations, the SMB located in Zurich’s Oberland has revamped its website, with a new password-protected customer area.

The company, which focuses on the development, manufacturing and maintenance of industrial electronics, now has a comprehensive site with a new look and feel. www.beh.ch includes reference objects that illustrate the company’s sphere of expertise, its own developments and additional information surrounding BRUNNER Elektronik as a company.

The most significant new feature is the password-protected area for customers only, which allows BRUNNER customers to check the status of their order, regardless of where they are or what time it is. The customer area also gives them access to product documents around the clock.
